OpenAI just released its answer to Claude Mythos

OpenAI is launching Daybreak, an AI initiative focused on detecting and patching vulnerabilities before attackers find them. Daybreak uses the Codex Security AI agent that launched in March to create a threat model based on an organization's code and focus on possible attack paths, validate likely vulnerabilities, and then automate the detection of the higher risk ones. Its launch comes just over a month after rival Anthropic announced Claude Mythos, a security-focused AI model it claimed was too dangerous to publicly release and only shared privately as a part of its own initiative, dubbed P...

Does the sudden removal of Sonnet 4.5 violate Claude's Constitution?

I noticed the core pillars are: Helpful, Honest, Harmless and User Autonomy. However, Sonnet 4.6 I noticed follows the same output in conversation at the very first sight of emotions. * "I hear you" / acknowledgment * "You're not crazy for feeling this way" / validation * "Real talk:" / transition phrase * Sanitized summary / safe conclusion I use Claude for research, daily planning and as a thought partner. But I find 4.6, as well do many others, to be unusable compared to 4.5 because of such rigid formatting. Also, users were given a weeks notice of its imminent retirement. However, I'...

Sonnet 4.6 incapable of writing different styles/attuning to style guides

I’ve used Claude for a long time and created various style guides with specific tones/voice and structure. Sonnet 4.6 can follow structure but that’s where it begins and ends. Claude models have always been able to emulate different styles of writing but with sonnet 4.6 it can no longer do that…what’s going on? Can any of the models emulate different kinds of writing styles anymore? Sonnet 4.5 can…

been banned from claudeai and cannot get the orgID requested

Hi all, I have received this email from Claude saying that I couldn't use my account any longer and if I had to appeal the decision I should have filled a form. when I opened it it told me that I had to go to my account and get the organization ID from the settings of my account, but if I try to log in I receive a message saying that my account has been suspended, I have no idea how to continue. Thanks in advance for the help

Anthropic just dropped a financial services agent repo and it's worth a look

I checked out GitHub after Anthropic's announcement last week and came across their new financial services reference repo (github.com/anthropics/financial-services). It packages 10 pre-built workflow agents for financial services firms you can run them through the Claude Cowork plugin or via the Managed Agents API, which is a useful bit of flexibility depending on how your stack is set up. The 10 agents cover a decent spread of the typical pain points: * **Pitch Agent** \- builds fully branded pitch decks from comps, precedent transactions, and LBO analysis * **Meeting Prep Agent** \- draft...

First MCPs, then Skills, now Memories are next

This was a really good talk, especially for anyone who's built things like the Karpathy wiki, Serena, or SQLite databases as memory for Claude. For any senior devs out there, are you spotting the solutions already implemented in distributed systems being reused? If many agents are working in parallel, how do you get them from stepping on each others toes? I can imagine logical clocks, consensus, deduplication, idempotency, and eventual vs causal consistency being applied. If you're on the Anthropic team, I'm curious how much different distributed systems algos were experimented with.
