I spent $340 on AI subscriptions last month. Wrote down what I actually used each one for. It was depressing.

Going through the credit card statement, here's what I had active: Claude Pro (40), ChatGPT Plus (20), Cursor (20), Perplexity Pro (20), Notion AI (10), Granola (20), ElevenLabs Starter (5), Midjourney Basic (10), Gamma Pro (10), Beautiful.ai (12), Otter Pro (17), Loom Business (15), Zapier Pro (30), Make Core (10), Tactiq Pro (8), Descript Creator (15), Reclaim.ai Pro (8), Motion (19), Superhuman (30), one i can't remember the name of (10), some ai-something for instagram captions (11) Then I sat down and wrote next to each one the last time I'd actually used it. Not opened it, used it for...

Does the “Indexing” status ever change in Claude Projects?

Hi everyone, I set up a Claude Project a few weeks ago, but the status indicator in the top right corner has never changed from "Indexing" and still shows that little black dot. Does this status ever clear up once processing finishes? Also, my larger PDFs aren't showing visual thumbnails like the smaller files do. The cards just show the total number of lines in the text. Does this indicate a processing failure, and would splitting these large documents into smaller files help clear the indexing queue? Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Sonnet 4.5 removal? 4.6 suddenly denying my writing prompts and which is better for HTML novel files?

Hey, I have a few Claude questions and I’m hoping someone here knows what’s going on. \- Is Sonnet 4.5 actually being removed? I’ve seen posts saying it was taken out, but I still have access to it on Claude Pro. I honestly like it way more than 4.6, but I don’t want to get attached if it’s going to disappear soon. \- Why is Sonnet 4.6 suddenly denying my prompts? I mainly use Claude for writing novels and fanfics, and 4.6 was working pretty well for that until today, when it started refusing requests out of nowhere. and yes, sometimes I ask it to write more mature/spicy scenes for contex...

Does anybody else feel like they are playing Civ when working on Claude projects?

Especially at night I feel like it’s always just one more turn that ends up being an hour(s) long. Let me just finish this module. Well now that is done, it’s silly to not finish up the corresponding whatever… Yesterday on my “last turn” I redesigned the GUI of one of my projects. Might’ve well started a war in Civ.

100 Tips & Tricks for Building Your Own Personal AI Agent /LONG POST/

*Everything I learned the hard way — 6 weeks, no sleep :), two environments, one agent that actually works.* # The Story I spent six weeks building a personal AI agent from scratch — not a chatbot wrapper, but a persistent assistant that manages tasks, tracks deals, reads emails, analyzes business data, and proactively surfaces things I'd otherwise miss. It started in the cloud (Claude Projects — shared memory files, rich context windows, custom skills). Then I migrated to Claude Code inside VS Code, which unlocked local file access, git tracking, shell hooks, and scheduled headless tasks....

What’s happened to Claude usage limits lately? I’m on the Pro plan using 4.6 Thinking, and asking it to refine a single email used 26% of my quota. A few prompts and the limit is nearly gone. It never used to behave like this. Have limits tightened or token usage changed recently?

I’m curious whether others are experiencing the same issue recently with Claude Pro and especially 4.6 Thinking. I asked Claude to refine one professional email and it consumed 26% of my usage allowance. A handful of normal prompts now seems to burn through limits extremely quickly compared to a few months ago. Has Anthropic changed: * token accounting? * context handling? * hidden reasoning usage? * Pro plan limits? * model efficiency/pricing internally? For people using Claude heavily for writing, strategy, coding, or business work: * Have you noticed a major drop in practical usage? *...

Ban wave?

So, just got Claude Pro yesterday, set up a quick life-planning project, and started doing some trip and financial planning. Wake up this morning and poof, the account is suspended for violating TOS, and I get a refund. What the hell? Am I really gonna have to migrate the project to another account? Am I really gonna lose usage of my main email's account?

Anthropic support not responding about missing Claude credits

Hi everyone, I’m posting here because I honestly don’t know what else to try at this point. I purchased extra usage credits for my Claude Pro account, the payment went through correctly, and I have both the invoice and the receipt. However, the credits were never added to my account. I’ve already contacted Anthropic support multiple times by email and through the support chat. Every time I receive either an automated reply or I’m told that someone will get back to me, but no one actually follows up. I also can’t start a new chat because the previous support conversation is still marked as ...

Claude Prompt for Gmail Brought Sweet Memories to Me, and a Gift I Didn't Know I Had.

I integrated my Claude with my gmail. I asked it to find all the emails between my mother and I, and to tell me a story with all the nice things in it, as my mum passed away a few years ago. It was excellent, very sweet, went back to my email I had previous that I connected to gmail even, so almost 2 decades of emails. It prompted me to search some of the emails for the photo attachments, and I learned that one of the projects that came with her weaving loom that I inherited, was intended to be a rug, and probably intended as a gift for me, as she had sent a cryptic message about making me s...
