Toothcomb is an open-source tool for analysing and fact-checking speech in real time.

Give Toothcomb a speech transcript and it will fact-check and analyse it. If you have an MP3 file of someone speaking, it can generate the transcript for you. You can also stream audio in real time from your device's microphone. You can see a [demo running here](https://toothcomb.codebox.net/) and read more about the project on the [home page](https://codebox.net/pages/toothcomb-ai-fact-checker). Analysis is performed in three stages: 1. The text is broken up into small parts, each usually a few sentences in length. These parts are sent, one at a time, to the Claude Opus API with [detailed...

Found 48 Vulnerabilities in Open Source Projects During Live Testing with Claude Opus 4.6

https://preview.redd.it/g98j5txd7sxg1.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=df75bc132f57cc14ba04cdd06257ba997b9bbb0b Ran a loop where each round runs Claude in a sandboxed Docker container with a fresh context window. The key difference is that the goal is **objective and verifiable.**  When I ran it on a repo, I noticed that during rounds 1-2, it found several independent low-risk vulnerabilities, but then, from round 3 onward, it started chaining them into critical exploits. This emergent behavior makes it very interesting.

Claude Opus 4.7 vs. ChatGPT 5.5 (xhigh/max): My Observations

I was originally on Claude's $100 plan. After finishing my project, I took a vacation. When I came back, I tried the free ChatGPT tier and was really impressed, so I upgraded to their $20 plan. I actually want to move up to their $100 plan now, but I'm currently stuck at the $20 tier due to an issue with their payment system. Here is how the two compare based on my recent workflow: **Claude Opus** **Performance**: It is still a very good model, but it has recently become quite **lazy**. It tends to ignore hard, complex tasks as well as basic supportive tasks. **Usage Limits**: Roughly com...

Claude Opus 4.7 solved the dorito smear after 19 mins - worth mentioning to video enthusiasts

Sorry for this long boring post but video encoding enthusiasts might find this one helpful information. And, it's an impressive set of circumstances. To recap quick, there was a strange dorito smear happening where the color was lifting off of image vertically, you can see it the most if you look at the top of the bend of the pipe on the tower to the left. It was bothering me and I had suspected TAA ghosting, SDFGI issues, codec issues and/or a NVENC bug. But, nothing we did would solve it. I went to bed and asked Claude to drill into it until it found a solution. Here it is for posterity (af...

Claude Opus 4.7 seems to be regressing hard

I am running into a pretty serious reasoning issue with Claude Opus 4.7. In my case, the problem is not just that it made a mistake or misunderstood a complex codebase. It seems unable to maintain a logical thread even across a few sentences. I was discussing a communication protocol and a very specific issue involving the encapsulation of 2 packets. This was not an especially obscure topic, just a technical discussion where consistency across consecutive messages really matters. But it keeps losing the thread almost immediately. It will accept premise A, then a couple of sentences later r...
